Bangalore: A Bangalore-based software company, Hidden Reflex, has launched a new browser- Epic.

The browser is mainly targeted at the Indian audiences. The software is based on Mozilla open-source platform. Any user can download the browser free from the website-www.epicbrowser.com. it is said in a statement by the company.

The software has been created by a group of Indian engineers.

“Epic provides a unique Indian browsing experience. Epic’ supports Indian content by providing users access to the latest national and regional news from popular publications, live television channels, videos, stock quotes, live cricket scores, top music albums, and local events,” a release said.

The users can write in Indian languages on any webpage or in Write, Epic's free built-in word processor. At present 12 Indian languages are supported, the statement said.

A free antivirus is built into Epic.
