Kozhikode: Shahid Rafi, son of Mohammed Rafi, sang a couple of evergreen melodies of Mohd Rafi at the juvenile home at Vellimadukunnu.
The children of the home enjoyed the music and danced with it.
“The Mohammed Rafi Music Academy will be launched in Mumbai on July 31, on the 30 th death anniversary day of my father,” he told.
Shahid was in the city to attend a private function. He expressed his happiness for being able to sing in Kozhikode.
The melodious voice of Shahid helped him to take the audience down the memory lane.
