New Delhi: The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) is shortly going to conduct a feasibility study for the North-South High-speed Rail Corridor in Kerala..

The study is expected to be completed within six months. .Industries minister Elamaram Kareem met DMRC MD E.Sreedharan in Delhi and discussed the proposed project.

The feasibility study will cover factors like the route to be followed for the corridor, the towns to be touched, time required for completing the project, and the anticipated cost of construction said Sreedhran.

According to preliminary assessment, the high speed track will need a formation width of about 20m.
