Kozhikode: A tanker-lorry driver was killed when the lorry collided with a private bus at Idimoozhikkal, near Thenhipalam, here on Friday.
The incident happened around 10.15 a.m. The driver, K P Prabhakaran of Kunnamangalam, died en route to Kozhikode Medical College Hospital.
Following the accident, traffic on the Kozhikode-Thrissur National high way was disrupted for some time.
About 30 bus passengers suffered minor injuries.
The rescue operations were carried out by the Fire and Rescue Services unit of the Meenchanda fire station.
